TRULY IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE, LESS CHARGE TIME
The forthcoming BMW iX features two electric motors that deliver a combined 500 horsepower. Its underfloor-mounted 100-kilowatt-hour battery pack can be recharged at home or on the road using a 200-kilowatt DC fast charging feature, which restores the battery from 10- to 80 percent capacity in less than 40 minutes. The new iX drivetrain and batteries have eliminated rare-earths, underscoring the manufacturer’s drive towards rare-earth reduction.

Inside, the electric SUV features a minimalist design with clear forms, clean contours, and a unique collection of modern technology. The well-laid-out cockpit is inspired by the idea of a deliberately simple design wherein the dash features an attractive 12.3-inch digital instrument panel that sits pretty behind a hexagonal multi-function steering wheel.
In its mission to be different, the iX offers a 14.9-inch curved touchscreen infotainment system that’s conveniently centralized to make for easy reach and operation.
Outside, BMW equipped the iX with an enormous kidney grille that’s as functional as it is bold. The intelligent grille houses a camera, radar, and other sensors that allow you to drive safely and smartly.
