BMW is keeping competitors on their toes as the german automotive brand has been hard at work releasing new models with more power, better performance, luxury interior cabins, and striking visuals.
While the automotive industry is still reeling from the exceptional power and adrenaline-inducing performance of the 2023 BMW XM, BMW has more exciting news. A special model of the BMW XM called the BMW XM Label Red will be available in 2023. The new 2023 BMW XM is the german brand’s first plug-in hybrid SUV. The high-performance XM has a 4.4-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo V8 engine and electric motor. Together they produce 489 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. This base model has an acceleration time of 4.1 seconds from 0 to 100km.
The upcoming Label Red model promises even more power and performance. The BMW XM Label Red will feature OVER 735 horsepower and 735 lb-ft of torque. This limited edition model will have exclusive exterior paint colors, cabin upholstery, and trim selections. The starting price for the BMW XM Label Red is $185,000 and up. BMW has hinted that more limited edition XM Label models are to come but at the moment only the Label Red has been confirmed. Production of the BMW XM Label Red is expected to begin in the late Summer of 2023. We predict the Label Red model will enter dealership showrooms in late Fall of 2023. Information on how to order the exclusive BMW XM Label Red will be added closer to the official release.
The new 2023 BMW XM is powered by a 4.4-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo V8 with a high-performance electric motor. The V8 engine produces 489 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque on its own. Pairing that V8 engine with the electric motor that contributes 197 horsepower and 206 lb-ft of torque is what gives the new XM its next-level performance abilities. The BMW XM can accelerate from 0 to 100km in 4.3 seconds. The standard transmission is an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic and works with the xDrive AWD system. The XM is BMW’s first plug-in hybrid built on an all-new platform with standard 21-inch M light-alloy wheels. Larger 22-inch and 23-inch M light-alloy wheels are also an option.
Competitors are on edge and hard-pressed to provide a driving experience half as engaging. The 2023 XM does not hesitate to respond to the driver’s every command. Optimize the BMW XM’s energy distribution and performance with three different driving modes. Choose between Hybrid, Electric, and Sport mode. Cruise through your neighborhood while producing zero emissions in Electric Mode. In Electric Mode, the 25.7-kWh battery pack enables an estimated electric driving range of 30 miles.
